Tolibkhon Shakhidi's 70th anniversary concert

On April 29, Hobart will conduct a gala concert celebrating the 70th anniversary of Tajik composer Tolibkhon Shakhidi in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory with the State Symphony Orchestra of Russia ( "Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra" ) in a colorful and diverse program including nine different compositions by Shahkidi, and five soloists : Vazgen Vartanian and Ekaterina Mechentina (piano) ; Nataliya Pavlova (soprano) ; Igor Fedorov (clarinet) and Khachatur Sarkisyants ( duduk) .
