Odessa Premiere of Max Bruch’s 2nd violin concerto

On November 9 and 10, Hobart will conduct the Odessa Philharmonic in a program including Sibelius 5th symphony. Before intermission, listeners will have a rare opportunity to hear the 2nd violin concerto by Max Bruch with Alexei Bruni as soloist. This concerto is seldom performed in public, and there is no record of it ever being played in Odessa.
