7th annual Grand Festival of the Russian National Orchestra in Moscow
Hobart will conduct two concerts of the RNO during their Grand Festival in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall Moscow next week. Both concerts feature Mikhail Pletnev as soloist. The all-Scriabin program on September 22 consists of Mikhail Pletnev playing the piano concerto and Hobart condcuting ‘Reverie’ Op. 24 and the Second Symphony http://russiannationalorchestra.org/concerts/concert-single/params/Month/9/Year/2015/Y/2015/M/9/D/22/ . The closing concert of the festival on September 26 will be an all-Rachmaninoff program, with Pletnev playing the Second Piano Concerto and Hobart conducting the Symphonic Dances
